Partnership Impact Update: Lives Are Already Being Changed

Earlier this year, Peter's Place Foundation announced a new ministry direction through a partnership with Men of Nehemiah, a Christ-centered residential recovery program in Dallas, Texas. Our hope was simple: rather than waiting years to launch our own residential facility, we wanted to begin helping young men immediately by providing financial support for proven recovery programs.

Today, we are grateful to share that this partnership is already making an impact.

Over the past several months, Peter's Place Foundation has had the privilege of helping support young men in recovery through our grant program. Recently, we received testimonials from program participants, and their stories remind us exactly why this mission matters.

These men have shared accounts of personal transformation, restored relationships, renewed faith, and newfound hope for the future. Many entered the program feeling broken, isolated, and trapped by addiction. Through structured recovery, accountability, discipleship, and the love of Christ, they are discovering healing and a path forward.

While every recovery journey is unique, one common theme runs through these stories: transformation is possible when individuals are given the support, guidance, and faith-centered community they need to succeed.

When we announced this partnership, we believed it would allow us to make an immediate difference in the lives of young men struggling with substance use disorder. These testimonials confirm that belief. Rather than waiting for long-term facility development goals, your support is already helping real people take meaningful steps toward recovery and restoration.

We are thankful to the supporters, donors, and prayer partners who have embraced this new direction. Because of your generosity, young men are receiving life-changing care today.

As Peter's Place Foundation continues this ministry, we hope to share more stories of hope and transformation, BUT that will depend on our donors filling in the gap. Every testimony serves as a reminder that God is at work, restoring lives and opening doors to new beginnings.

Please consider supporting this ministry through a donation to Peter's Place Foundation. Your generosity helps make stories like these possible.

History:
Taking the Next Step in Our New Ministry Direction

In late 2025, we shared that Peter’s Place Foundation would be shifting direction in order to respond more quickly to the urgent needs of young men in recovery. Today, we are excited to announce a meaningful next step in that journey.

After continued prayer, discernment, and research, we have established a partnership with Men of Nehemiah in Dallas, Texas, an organization with a proven, Christ-centered approach to addiction recovery for men. Through this partnership, Peter’s Place Foundation will begin actively supporting young men in their recovery journeys through a grant process we have been diligently working on over that past 6 months.

As we shared previously, the rising costs of housing and the challenges of launching our own residential program made it clear that waiting to fulfill our original vision would delay our ability to make an immediate impact. We believe strongly that the need is too great and too urgent to postpone action.
By partnering with Men of Nehemiah, we are able to:

  • Directly sponsor young men in recovery, providing access to structured, faith-based, residential care
  • Support an established program with a strong track record of transformation and success
  • Begin changing lives immediately, rather than waiting for long-term capital goals to be realized.

We are hopeful that once men graduate through the program, they will share their stories in testimony and give our donors a meaningful insight into the impact we are having as a ministry.

This partnership represents an important step forward in our mission to serve young men struggling with substance use disorder. It allows us to steward our current resources wisely while still pursuing the heart of our calling—to bring hope, healing, and restoration to young men with addiction.

In the months ahead, we look forward to sharing stories of impact from this partnership and the lives being changed through your support.
